Monday of 3rd Week of Easter - VIANNEY comes to Ottawa - CCO IMPACT Commissioning

MONDAY AFTER THE THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER

Grant, we pray, almighty God, that, putting off our old self with all its ways, we may live as Christ did, for through the healing paschal remedies, you have conformed us to his nature. Who lives and reigns with you.

International tour of St. John
VIANNEY
in Ottawa
tonight and tomorrow!

Performed by renowned actor and director LEONARDO DEFILLIPIS

This evening and tomorrow, I will attend this play of the gripping story of Saint John Vianney, the remarkable priest and model saint for all priests and laity. Tonight at Holy Redeemer Parish in Kanata and tomorrow evening at St. Patrick's Basilica.
Some months ago I listened to a CD of this play as I drove around town and I found the actor most engaging.

There are still good numbers of tickets available for each performance. Admission at the door: $12 Adults, $6 Youth/Students. Suitable for ages 9 & up.

This live theatrical production incorporates projected video imagery and an original orchestral score to create a powerful multi-media experience that will inspire the whole community.

Details:

• Holy Redeemer Parish in Kanata on May 9th at 7:30 pm

• Saint Patrick's Basilica on May 10th at 7:30 pm

• Ample parking for the May 10th performance will be available across the street at Saint Patrick’s Adult school on 290 Nepean Street.

CCO IMPACT OTTAWA
ENGAGES 56 YOUTH
FROM ACROSS CANADA

During the summer of 2004, 57 young people from across Canada came to Halifax to learn how to share their faith with several parishes in the Archdiocese.  It gave a big boost to our youth ministry in parishes.

This summer, Ottawa is privileged to have the same experience in nine parishes, including, on this occasion, two francophone parishes.

We had a commissioning service following Mass in Notre Dame Cathedral on Friday evening following their orientation program last week.

Here are some photos from the Mass, commissioning and reception in the parish hall.
